Why choose me?

Shopping around?  Why should you choose me over the many other perhaps less expensive photographers out there?

  • PPOC Certified- I am among an elite group of professional photographers who have not only earned her CPA Craftsman of Photographic arts, but also my MPA Master of Photographic Arts.  I am fortunate enough to have earned this distinction.  When you hire an accountant or a plumber would you hire a hobbyist/weekender or a Certified one?

  • Awards- I have had many of my images and works awarded over the years.  Check out my Awards section.  I am most proud to have earned the title of PPOC Atlantic Photographer of the Year in 2007

  • Continued Education- I am extremely dedicated to continuing my education to give my clients the best quality available through attending conventions and seminars whenever I can.  I have recently been asked to present my knowledge to students and peers.

  • Nationally Accredited-A collection of 10 images in a given category are judged by a panel of trained judges to be above average quality.  I am accredited in both Childrens and Environmental Wedding Portraiture.

  • Established- I have owned and operated Light and Vision since 1991 during my second year of college.  I plan to be around for another 25 years doing what I love!

  • FAST!!-  I am a hard worker and deliver proofs and products as quickly as I can.  Some may say I am a bit of a work a holic but I love what I do and don't waste any time doing it!

  • Consistency- Many of my award winning images were for clients.  So what you see on my website is the quality and creativity you can expect.  I like to show entire weddings from start to finish, not only just the best of the last 19 years!

  • I'm the Artist-  I am at a point where I could easily hire on other photographers or digital artists but I prefer to see each and every session through from start to finish!  This may mean I may not take on as many sessions so I can spend time and attention to each client and the quality of their finished portraits.
